Arelza is a luxury footwear brand created for women with small feet who want beautiful heels without compromising on fit, style or the experience of luxury.
We believe women with smaller shoe sizes deserve the same choice, attention to detail and access to beautiful luxury footwear as everyone else. Finding heels that fit should not mean settling for children's shoes, limited designs or styles that do not reflect your personal taste.
Arelza was created to offer something different.
The Story Behind Arelza
For as long as I can remember, finding heels that fitted me properly was a challenge.
As a woman who is 4'9 and wears a UK size 1.5, I know what it feels like to fall in love with a beautiful pair of shoes, only to discover that the smallest size the brand makes is still too big.
From my Year 11 prom to birthdays, weddings and other special occasions, I struggled to find heels that completed the outfits I wanted to wear. Sometimes I had to choose trainers or embellished flat sandals instead, simply because I could not find suitable heels in my size.
Even shopping for designer footwear brought the same disappointment. I would find beautiful styles, imagine the outfits I could create with them, and then discover that the smallest size those brands made was still too big for me.
On one occasion, I ordered around 30 to 35 pairs of shoes online, trying different sizes from different countries in the hope that one would fit. Not one pair fitted me properly.
Experiences like these made me realise how easily women with small feet can be overlooked in footwear. I wanted the same freedom of choice, beautiful designs and luxury shopping experience that other women could enjoy.
That is why I created Arelza.
